Owl Trail

Overview

Describing this trail as "spectacular" just doesn't do it justice. Heading north from the parking lot at Muir Beach, the trail ambles across a ridge above the rugged coast. Let your imagination wander as look to the west. Experience the fresh ocean air while you take in the breathtaking vista.<br><br>The singletrack is easy to navigate with a few stairs here and there. The brush is low enough to offer views down to the crashing waves most of the way. A pine tree here and there offers shade and protection from the sun and wind.<br><br>At the Slide Ranch enjoy a restful sit or picnic before returning.
