The Miwok Trail is a connector trail for multiple valleys and ridges. This fire road is frequently utilized by mountain bikers, runners, and hikers out for an extended jaunt. Upon completion of Miwok, one will gain an appreciation of the grandeur and diversity of the wilderness available in southern Marin. The trail is wide and has many ups and downs with some fairly steep sections. For the most part, this trail runs north/south with many intersections with east/west directional trails.
