Overview
From the parking lot, hike down Woods Lake Road and find the trailhead on the left. Climb through thinning forests of lodgepole pine forests until you approach a creek on your right. In the spring, there are abundant wildflowers in the grasslands along to the trail. End at rocky Winnemucca Lake where you can enjoy dramatic views of the surrounding mountains.
