From the Pacific Crest Trail, descend past Winnemucca and Round Top lakes toward Fourth of July Lake. This trail starts with a gradual climb up to the junction with Round Top Lake Trail and Round Top Summit Trail before beginning a steady descent to its end at Fourth of July Lake.
