From the parking area located on Marshall Beach Road, head north through a stile and onto a ranch road, which serves as the trail. The path will soon reach Inverness Ridge, a good place to enjoy views of Tomales Bay. The road then curves toward the right (east) before it steepens downward and rapidly takes you to the beach. From the beach you can hike to the south until cliffs stop you from going further, or you can hike a short ways to the north along the beach to a different small, secluded beach. Once you've had your fill of beach time you can return to the parking area long the same route that took you to the beach.

Thanks to John McKinney, The Trailmaster, for sharing this trail description.
