Buttermilk Bend Trail

Overview

This smooth trail gently hugs the hillside adjacent to the South Yuba River. The undemanding tread allows hikers to focus on the beautiful backdrop provided by the river and terrain. In the spring, the surrounding hillsides erupt in a display of bright wildflowers.<br><br>The South Yuba River Park Association offers guided tours on the Buttermilk Bend Trail in the spring.
