This is a short and moderate undeveloped trail from Albert Lake to Upper Albert Lake in the Russian Wilderness. There are multiple paths alongside each other, but no official trail. The dirt and rock trails can be a hard to follow but generally follow the south side of the lake and hike up the south side of the outlet creek from Upper Albert Lake. There is one main campsite at Upper Albert Lake. Hikers can also reach Big Blue Lake from the saddle above Upper Albert Lake. This trail can be quite busy in July/August when nearby Pacific Crest Trail hikers are passing through.
