Savannah Trail

Overview

Of the four trails in Helen Putnam that go through a fair amount of trees, the Savannah Trail has a good chance of being your favorite. It offers peeks of views all along the way, and the nearby mushrooms, beautiful oaks, as well as the old, twisted, dead oaks are quite the sights. It could definitely be considered the scenic route going to the parking lot from Panorama Trail. This trail suffers from being the main channel for streams during or after decent rains, so beware of that!
