Where Mt. Hough 8 trail ends at Steinhart meadow, hike 100 yards (or less) on the Mt. Hough Road, and the trail starts to your right. This section has a bit of climbing, but it is an easy grade.<br><br>The trail runs into Mt. Hough 1, and the lower section has been logged. The trail is tough to follow, but look for the moto and for the ribbon, and you'll find the way!
