Drakes Head Trail

Overview

From the junction with the Estero trail, head south on a gentle downhill, generally on a ridge to the point. The last section of the trail seems more like a cattle trail than a human trail, but persevere - this is a favorite vantage point for spotting seabirds, whales and sea lions. Many visitors enjoy having a picnic on the bluff of Drakes Head. Note: bikes are allowed on this trail.
