Lower Trail is the smoothest and least rocky of the trails to the north of the park road in Upper Bidwell Park. The trail makes it's way through short rock gardens from drainages off the bluffs of North Rim but, for the most part, offers intermittent shade and smooth dirt. Like Upper Trail, it eventually terminates into Middle Trail.
