Emerald Ridge Trail

Overview

To access this trail, head to the Tall Trees Trailhead and parking area. Take the Tall Trees Trail for a 1/4 mile looking for the start of this trail on the left (south) side. You can also hop onto this trail around the midpoint via the Dolason Prairie Trail.<br><br>The trail begins with a relatively abrupt descent through dense, old-growth forest until it comes out at Redwood Creek. This area was protected from logging in the late 60's, and the trees are that much bigger because of it.
