Meadow

Overview

From its intersection with the Sky Trail, the Meadow Trail begins on a gentle descending contour of the hillside. The grade increases briefly until a broad ridge line is reached. The mossy, lush forest encroaches on the entire length of this trail with the exception of a remarkable long meadow at the trail's midpoint. You may spot wildlife and a few wildflowers here. Duck back into the woods for a series of steeper downhill sections down a sharp ridge. The trail ends in Bear Valley by crossing Bear Creek on a footbridge and joining the Bear Valley Trail. Note: bikes are not allowed on the Meadow Trail.
