Bay Area Ridge Trail: Moore Creek Park

Overview

The Bay Area Ridge Trail in remote Moore Creek Park climbs high onto the exposed east slopes of the Moore Creek canyon, offering sweeping views, then descends and heads up the shaded scenic creek corridor to a series of creek pools. The exposed Vista Valentine Trail is hot in summer, so hike early in the day or in cooler weather.

This trail description is excerpted from the 2019 Bay Area Ridge Trail Guidebook.
