Flanagan Trail

Overview

This trail provides access to the Chamise Peak Trail and Sacramento Ditch Trail from a parking lot on Flanagan Road. The trail itself is pretty, with lots of shade from manzanita and oak. The hike up to Chamise Peak on what feels like a side trail is suitable for a family outing, and the Sacramento Ditch Trail (following the Sacramento River from Shasta Dam to Lake Redding area) is frequented by mountain bikers.
