Union Rock Lake Trail

Overview

This easy trail runs from Union Reservoir to Elephant Rock Lake where you have your choice of what to do next. We came out here on a whim during a rare storm in 2014 and didn't know what to expect really. There is a popular car-camping spot at Union Reservoir, but Elephant Rock Lake was a relatively small lake. Elephant Rock itself looks like a fun climb, but we were not able to climb to the top because of the rain and lack of gear. <br><br>I definitely want to come back here at some point and explore the area further as there seem to be a number of trails to explore and a great opportunity for a variety of activities ranging from hiking to climbing to fishing to camping.
