Lower Twin Lake South Shore Trail

Overview

Lower Twin Lake South Shore Trail, as its name suggests, runs along the south shoreline of Lower Twin Lake. It connects Echo Lake/Twin Lakes Trail with the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT). It is an alternate route to the PCT from Echo Lake/Twin Lakes Trail at the west end of Lower Twin Lake. Fairfield Peak, close by to the northeast, can be seen across Lower Twin Lake from this trail.<br><br>One can do a complete loop hike around Lower Twin Lake using this Lower Twin Lake South Shore Trail, the PCT, and Echo Lake/Twin Lakes Trail. This Lower Twin Lake loop hike is about 1.8 miles long.
