Picnic Road

Overview

This level spur trail is easily accessible with a parking area off Hamilton Road. It heads south along a flat grade parallel to the West Branch Mill Creek. This trail features a varying composition of riparian (riverside) plant species providing an interesting contrast to the conifer-dominated areas further up the hillside. The diversity of the Redwoods ecosystem can really be admired on this trail, so take your time to enjoy the scenic trip.
