Martin Creek Trail is part of the Trinidad Coastal Land Trust, and despite the No Parking signs at the trailhead, the trail is open to the public. The trail is very steep, large roots and obstacles are frequent, and much of the trail is muddy and partially washed out. The reward though is a short adventure through majestic forest to a beautiful beach offering solitude.

Note that while there's no parking directly in front of the trailhead, parking is available across the street from the trailhead under the Eucalyptus Tree.
