Use this route to link up the Clouds Rest/Sunrise Lakes trailhead area at the western end of Tenaya Lake with the Murphy Creek Trail about a mile to the north. Travel over off-camber granite slabs just west of Tioga Road and then enter a forested valley. This connector crosses Murphy Creek and then terminates at a junction with the Murphy Creek Trail about 0.4 miles from the Murphy Creek trailhead.
