Glen

Overview

The wide Glen trail leaves Bear Valley Trail from the junction with Baldy Trial. Climb gradually out of the Coast Creek valley and away from the hubbub of the Bear Valley area. The trail passes through densely wooded forest and has one steep switchback before reaching the intersection with Glen Camp Loop trail. This is the quickest way to reach the campground.

For those not visiting Glen Camp, continue on the Glen trail as it ascends above a steep valley to the east. The uphill is finished once you reach the junction with the Coast Glen Spur trail. Proceed straight over remarkably flat ground for almost a mile before the trail ends at Stewart Trail.
