Diamond Peak Loop

Overview

"Start at parking lot go downhill to Y go right onto Fairview , climb Fairview until intersection with Hiway 431 . Cross Hiway 431 to dirt road directly across stay on dirt road until it intersects with 431 again cross again continue on dirt road . Climb @3/4 mile turn right follow bike tracks between Forest Service brown markers . Stay on main path downhill . This is the start of the Diamond Peak downhill . Non-stop action on the downhill , lots of rock ledges , tight banked sweeping turns , log crossings and drops for close to 4 miles . Trail exits on Tirol Blvd follow this road to the left back to the ski area and your car. Awesome views of Lake Tahoe from the trail. "
