Patrick's Point State Park is a scenic hiking and camping area with beaches, ocean views, and Sitka spruce forest. This park is considered one of the best whale and dolphin watching points on the north coast. There are multiple hiking and running options to expand this trail into many more miles.

The Patrick's Point Rim Trail ranges from singletrack and somewhat overgrown to doubletrack in excellent condition. There are some muddy parts and sections where the land has subsided, and you'll need to climb up rough steps or down on to rocks placed to help reduce the height difference. Some of the trail bridges can be slippery, and there are some parts of the Rim Trail system being rehabilitated. There are several side trails to vistas, beaches, and forest.
