"Access from Davenport Campground off hwy 165 and loop Second Mace/Dome Rock/Squirrel Creek trails or from Pueblo Mtn Park in Beulah, since traditional access from Squirrel Cr Rd is rstricted. Squirrel Creek is the wildest ride I yet to do. Going up is a bitch, and you will probably have to dismount and walk about thirty times. The Squirrel Creek crosses the bike trail around thirty times and this is what makes it tricky riding up. Eventually climb above the creek and the trail is just normal singletrak. Take it all the way up to the old house that was burned down.Going down is F*cking sweet, it is narrow, steep, and fast. Once you hit the creek crossings is what makes the trail unique in my opinion. Here you are flying down through all of these crossings. Just be careful not to slip on rocks. Have fun!"
