This trail continues from Sunrise. Expect speed, loose rocks, creek crossings, tight switchback descending turns, and perhaps a few hike-a-bike sections depending on your skills.

Just after the final descent, you'll cross a bridge over a creek and begin a doubletrack climb. In the last 1/4 mile of that climb, the Second Divide trail goes left and down, while the Third Divide (and main trail) goes right and continues up. The Second Divide is longer, but in my opinion, not as fast or as much fun as the Third Divide. Both Second Divide and Third Divide lead to the First Divide trail.
Chillin' on the first bridge.
The "Waterfall"- checking the line and non-existent phone connection on the Butcher Trail.
Butcher Ranch trailhead sign.
Can't miss this trail junction and sign - Downhill is the Second Divide Trail. Short uphill is the Third Divide trail.
