Christmas Valley Trail

Overview

Either ride this from the Tahoe Rim Trail (TRT), which you can pick up on 89 at the Big Meadow Campground, or ride this as an out and back from South Upper Truckee Road. The TRT starts tough, but is probably a more pleasant climb overall. <br><br>You can add on a trip to the alpine lakes from the intersection with the TRT.<br><br>This is a somewhat challenging trail, but very rideable if techy at times, and super fun. It also feels like a nice long stretch of good riding - the trail really milks the terrain nicely.
