Overview
Bald Butte is a grassy prominence and former lookout site at the north end of Surveyors Ridge. Views extend down to the Hood River Valley and Mount Hood ; to the north is the Cascade crest in Washington: Mount Saint Helens is fully visible and Mount Adams can be seen behind the Butte.
