Overview
Ball Point rises above the School Canyon Trail on the ridge between Tygh and Little Badger creeks. The summit was burned in the 2007 Ball Point Fire, so a short off-trail hike to the summit will now give you some views, especially if you head up the northeast slope. The School Canyon Trail traverses the north slope of the prominence.
