Entering from the Fire road connector from Boggs Peak Trail to Gail's Trail Downhill CA, you should have a decent amount of speed. You are going to hit some narrow, fast singletrack that will alternate between twisty, rooty and rocky to switchbacks with a combination of all. This trail is fast and you can push it through the entire trail. One short section of trail has some rocky technical climbing but most of the trail is downhill.

Gail's Trail is narrow enough in sections that you need to avoid trees along the trail - not low hangers, just trees on both sides making the trail narrow and fun. Towards the end of the trail you'll get to an area with both rocky technical uphills and downhills. The trail finishes in a twisty smooth track back at the parking area.

Note that the end of the trail contains an interpretive forest section. Watch for hikers.
