Overview
The main campsite at Camp Windy is below the junction of FR 4860 and FR 3550 (Bennett Pass Road). There's an old picnic table and a spring here as well as a broad meadow. Just east of here, below FR 4860, are a couple of other more primitive camping spots shaded by an especially large silver fir. An extensive meadow stretches down the slope. A trail leads east from these campsites to an A-frame outhouse.
