This trail is part of a network of about 85% intermediate to advanced singletrack trails at the Rockville Hills Regional Park in Rockville, CA (near Fairfield, CA). There is a small, per-person park use fee payable at a machine at the main parking entrance, which helps maintain the park. Nearly all trails are less than a mile in length and fun in either direction. With nearly 30 trails to the network, you can easily put in a 10 mile ride without repeating the same trail in the same direction.

The Rock Garden Trail: Soak in the views, open your suspension, and prepare yourself for a technical, rocky, singletrack descent. The descending pitch isn't steep, so you'll need to pedal through in places. This trail is generally ridden from top to bottom, but riding it back up and heading down again is a good way to practice technical riding skills. The Rock Garden is arguably the favorite technical trail of the park.
