Pacific Rim

Overview

The Pacific Rim Trail is a link between Shelter Cove Road and the Paradise Royale Loop.\n\nStart counter-clockwise on the Pacific Rim Green Loop, turning left on the Pacific Rim Trail. The climbing begins right away with a continuous grunt up to Paradise Ridge. Pedal through short, steep climbs punctuated by quick descents to another extended (less steep) gradual climb. The grade steepens again as you reach the high point of the trail. From here Its fast and fun as you traverse the ridge, crossing below Queen Peak. \n\nDont forget to take in the mesmerizing views of the Pacific Ocean before the exciting descent into the dense forest. You'll navigate a series of switchbacks before reaching the trail intersection on the east side of the Paradise Royale Loop. \n\nFrom here you can retrace your ride in the opposite direction or continue on to the Paradise Royale Loop. Clockwise is the recommended direction.
