Pine Ridge traverses through rolling black oak prairies and some conifer tree stands. The trail was designed to be ridden in either direction, although the general trail system is designed to be ridden from highest to lowest point, which will start you on the northern end of the trail system.

We recommend parking at the main area as designated on the map and riding from there. You can either ride along Pine Ridge Road to loop around to the northern end, or you can ride Pine Ridge as an out-and-back starting from the parking area.

When the entire trail system is finally built, this may shift to starting at the very top of the trail system that is slated to be built this summer (2015). Expect relatively non-technical singletrack with flow style bermed turns, and a few steep but short climbs.
