Entering this trail from the Tenaya side is a very tough climb for about the first 1/2 mile. After that it is a gentle grade along the ridge until you get to the Giant Sequoias. Make sure to stop and take a pictures of these massive trees!<br><br>After that it is a fun smooth and winding descent down to the parking area for Nelder grove.<br><br>There are several other short trails near here that lead to other tree groves. If you have time you can explore.
