Overview
Best ridden as part of the Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park: Ossagon Trail Loop. This trail is not very technical, but a lot of fun to ride as it follows the wild and lonely coastline of the Gold Bluffs beach. <br><br>Be sure to stop at areas of special interest such as a cool waterfall, Fern Canyon, and Gold Bluffs beach. Be prepared however, you can't avoid getting wet due to the several creek crossings and a particularly troublesome swampy area along the beach.<br><br>To ride this scenic trail, stay straight and ignore any junctions (all other trails in Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park are hiking only). Shortly after Fern Canyon, you'll reach the parking area at the end of Davidson Road and can continue straight on the gravel road.
