The Great Ski Race

Overview

This trail is the site of a major ski race (surprise!) in winter, and a really fun, nice intermediate singletrack in the summer. It rolls up and some, but never very steeply. The surface is smooth and you can go very fast, but be careful, people travel both directions and it's fairly popular.<br><br>If you're riding the Painted Rock Loop via TRT, consider skipping the "Brutal connector to the TRT" and take this trail instead. At the end, you'll have a short ride up a paved road to reconnect to that ride. This option is much easier (and arguably better), but you'll have less time on the TRT.
