From the Harmony Market hub parking, cross over the highway and pick up the paralleling trail on the roads shoulder on the east edge of the 5 Mile House parking lot. After a short flat roadside section you'll see the trailhead sign and the trail goes to the right and the fun begins. The trail starts out flat but after crossing a small private road, it is ON!!! Once your brain has been scrambled from a phenomenal downhill, you pop out on Casci Ranch Road. From here you have some choices, go up Casci, or back up the trail (ugh). To continue cross over and continue down to the lake.

The lakeside section on Scott's Flat Lake Trail is a perfect finish to a sweet downhill, it meanders along the shoreline with several places to hop in for a swim, or just catch some rays... When you get to the dam, that's the end of the line. Return the way you came, or climb up through the campgrounds and back to Hwy 20 on Scott's Flat Road.

Once you get through Scott's Flat Campground via the lake front trail segment, turn left and head up Scott's Flat Rd. The road gradually climbs back up the ridge, wraps around and takes you right back to Five Mile House/ Harmony Ridge Market hub.
Taking a break and enjoying the views alongside the trail.
You'll need to navigate this bridge by the boat dock area on Scott's Flat Lake Trail.
Crystal Blue Waters of Scotts Flat Lake (great for kayaking)
Probably the coolest trail bridge you'll ever find on a ride
Bermin' like a German
Look for this sign to mark the entrance to the fun downhill segment!
