This ride starts at the Spring Lake parking lot. From there you take the Canyon Trail fire road to the Spring Creek Trail in Annadel. This trail is technical and steep for a section of about a quarter mile right before the lake. However, it is the shortest route to Lake Ilsanjo, being just under 2.5 miles from the Spring Lake parking lot.

The trail ends at Lake Ilsanjo and from there you make a right (or left if you like) onto the Lake Trail. From there you can take a couple laps around the Lake for fun (it's really pretty and quite peaceful)... or just make your way around the Lake to the Rough Go Junction. It's clearly marked.

Stay on the Rough Go Trail for 0.9 miles until you reach the Orchard Trail. The Orchard trail can be technical at times but not difficult. Make a right on the the Orchard Trail and stay on that until it loops around to the Cobblestone Trail - approximately 1 mile. Take a left onto the Cobblestone Trail and follow it until it junctions again with the Rough Go Trail - again in about a mile. Then turn right onto the Rough Go and take it all the way down to the Canyon Trail fire road you started on, and back to the parking lot.
The view of Lake Ilsanjo dam from the Spring Creek Trail. The name "Ilsanjo" is an eponymous contraction of former landowners "Ilsa and Joe" Coney.

Annadel is a mixture a open fields on one side and enclosed singletrack on the other.
Rest at Lake Ilsanjo between Canyon Trail and Rough Go Trail
Annadel dances between smooth, open fire roads to loose, rocky and a bit technical without warning.
