Start out at the Lewis Creek trailhead. Cross the river and ride 2 miles some great singletrack around. A very well maintained trail that is mostly rollers. Be careful later in the day as this trail get a lot of hiker traffic, I have never had problems but be respectful.

Exit the trail and turn right to go through the Sugarpine camp. Follow the fire road until you get to highway 41. On this route we crossed 41 at Westfall Station. Pick up short singletrack here and enter the Miami Creek area. Miami Creek has a lot of places to ride. This ride stays on the fire road until you cross 41 again at Tenaya Lodge.

Fill up your water bottles for and head to the Waterfall Trail. A small section of singletrack that runs along a flume and ends at a waterfall. Head back to the fire road and up to the top of the hill. Turn off for the only difficult climb of the day. It is short but gets more technical as you get to the top. Save your legs to power through the rocks at the top.

From here it is fairly flat to the first set of Giant Sequioa's. Head down the fun and fast singletrack until you get to Nelder grove. There is another small loop through here to see some more of the giant trees and then descend the fire road back to Lewis creek trail.

Take the trail back to the parking area at the trailhead and go to Oakhurst for some BBQ.

The waterfall / flume in June, absolutely worth the fun (albeit precarious in spots) singeltrack out & back.
