Round Top Summit Trail

Overview

From Round Top Lake, follow the obvious climber's trail toward Round Top. As the path steepens, follow any of the sets of switchbacks toward the saddle. At the saddle, turn left toward Round Top. A 100-foot class 2 scramble brings you to the west summit. Most hikers stop here, but the true summit is to the east and can be reached by descending the gap and climbing the east summit from the southeast. This is class 3.
