Eight Mile Loop Trail #496

Overview

Add this great singletrack loop to get a few more miles when you ride Knebal Springs Trail #474. It travels well both ways, but the climbing is easier if you go clockwise. It also provides convenient access to Lower Cook's Meadow Trail as FSR #4420. <br><br>The loop maintains a pleasant narrow-to-wide singletrack and is relatively free of obstacles, though you'll assuredly come across some blow down early in the season. There are a couple of good viewpoints looking southeast from northern sections of the trail.<br><br>This connects to the Eight Mile Creek Campground via a little trail near the bottom. If you're not camping, you can park at the campground's day-use area (remember to bring cash or your Northwest Forest Pass to cover the fees).
