This short trail loops around the Reehers Camp Trailhead, which sits at the northern tip of the Gales Creek Trail.

To ride it clockwise, you would actually overlap with the first 0.4 miles of the Gales Creek Trail. When the trail comes back to Cochran Road, continuing across the road starts the Triple C Trail.

Cool, calm, collected. That must be what the three C's stand for. It's a relatively tame, quick trail that is nonetheless pretty darn fun. It makes for a great warm-up for the much longer Gales Creek Trail which continues south. It also pairs well with the Step Creek Trail loop further to the south.

There is some climbing but it's not bad and it's simple: go up for a bit, come down for a bit, and you're done. Towards the end of the trail, the forest opens up to older growth, and the trail gets really fun to descend.
Brief open section of the Triple C Trail before it goes back into the trees.
The forest opens up into some older growth as it winds back down to the road.
