This downhill has high speed and a high giggle factor. This is a technical trail lack that is slightly strenuous. The line of sight is good, and it is okay to walk some features.

Ricochet Trail a seriously fast and technical, narrow to moderately wide singletrack with banked and bermed corners, pronounced “whoops,” natural and man-made jumps and rollers, embedded large and medium rocks, rock drops and roll overs, serious drop-ins, and table-tops. Most features can be rolled-over and several bypasses are provided—walk each feature before you decide to have a go of it.

The trail should be ridden from west to east (upslope to downslope) and may be accessed from MERA Loop Trail #724 at Intersection 6 or Sasquatch Trail #755 at Intersection 7. Ricochet Trail terminates at the MERA Loop Trail at Intersection 8.

Trail signage is very good; all MERA trails are signed with a carsonite post showing trail name, number, rating, and cautions as applicable, e.g., high speed downhill mountain bikes, preferred equestrian route, etc. All main intersections have a unique number, shown on the carsonite post, that corresponds to the MERA map.
