Start from the north end to enjoy a continuous descent that is steep at times. The trail is used infrequently. Near the beginning, you'll go through a clear cut area which provides nice views of the Cascade mountain range.<br><br>After dropping off the ridge, the route will descend steadily through multiple switchbacks in the forest.<br><br>Dry Fir ends at a clear cut near Trillium Lake Road, USFS Forest Road 2656-903.
