Starting from the trailhead on Forest Service road NF-6010 (NF-398 on Google Maps), head south across Summit Creek and reach Meek Lake in a short distance.

The trail continues past Meek Lake climbing through the forest past several ponds until the junction with Summit Lake Trail.

While you're riding, you'll encounter a few obstacles like downed trees and gullies. Most of these are rideable, but you'll have to dismount to get under some of the bigger downed trees. On the way up, the grade makes for a pleasant, easy climb, but it's more of an intermediate ride in the downhill direction due to obstacles.
It's a jungle out there on the Meek Lake Trail!
Hmm, this section of the Meek Lake Trail might be more fun coming down!
Great views of Meek Lake can be had all along the trail.
Ready to roll at the Meek Lake Trailhead.
