Lower Mrazek

Overview

This is the trail to do if you only have time for a little taste of Mrazek. Access the trail from Shevlin Park trailhead. You know you are on Mrazek as soon as you reach the hairpin turn and start climbing. <br><br>It's only a short climb, filled with a good amount of rocky, technical sections (yep, the wonderful Oregon lava rock). Oh, did I mention there are 2-3 additional hairpins mixed in that technical? Sooooo fun. (This section can be walked, and the remaining Lower Mrazek becomes an intermediate ride).<br><br>In less then 10 minutes, you plateau out, then just a gradual climb, full of fun twisty, smooth turns. Turn around when you want. The down is a blast, especially that short technical section.<br><br>For the full North Fork to Mrazek Ride you'll want to start at Tumalo Falls and end at Shevlin Park (or Rd 4606/Skyliners), then car shuttle back.
