The climb is steep in some sections, especially at the very beginning and end. There are very few rocks and roots which makes for some nice flowing sections on the descent, but don't rip down too quickly or one of the many quick turns will sneak up and send you into the ravine. The rolling terrain along the trail provides some short descents on the way up and short little climbs on the way down.

Overall, a good ride for anyone looking to do a short, quick climb without getting shaken to bits then cruise down and work on navigating narrow tree openings and pumping small rolling features.
The start of the trail - headed to either Storey Burn, Bell Camp or Reeher's. Along with the memorial plaque to Randy Hodge - who died while helping to build the trail.
Really love the way the forest can open up in Tillamook State Forest.
