This is a great little loop, with a few mildly technical sections. It's the perfect trail for a quick ride, or a training ground for new riders looking to improve their skills.

At the start of the route, you'll see the trailhead map. It's very easy to follow, and even if you shoot off on a tangential trail, it will quickly lead you back to the main line.

Its name says it all; there is very little climbing, and it's a great place to learn proper body positioning and trail skills. You'll find a few rocks, roots, and switchbacks along the way, so even the experienced rider will appreciate the singletrack. There are also a few vistas to pull over and enjoy the views from.

A few things to note:

If the trail hasn't been recently maintained it can be overgrown with weeds. If that's the case, expect some spiderwebs and scratches along your hands and shins.

There are signs occasionally warning of poison oak, so beware.
