Socialist Valley Road

Overview

Socialist Valley Road is a steady road climb that's primarily used to get to all the freeride goodies Black Rock has in store. From the entrance arch, cross over the camp's sports field toward the tree line. Keep following the road up along a steady grade past the orange gate and the bottom of Banzai Downhill. <br><br>From there, continue pedaling or pushing as the road intersects Bonzai Downhill again before reaching the Basic Training skills area. This is a great spot to take a break and have some fun on a variety of drops, ladders, jumps, and skinnies. As it continues up, Socialist Valley Road crosses Granny's Kitchen and Sickter Gnar before reaching the intersection with the Summit Access Road. Turn left on Summit Access Road for the next part of the climb.<br><br>Keep a lookout for trail crossing signs along the road, these usually correlate to high-speed features, so look before you continue.
