A trail that is unabashedly meant to be ridden down hill, Rabid Rabbit has a lot going for it; a sophisticated name, tight corners, smooth berms, and plenty of "fundulation" to keep you coming back.

The trail takes off from the middle of Upper Dan by briefly leading you through a small meadow opening (look for flowers during the spring) and then quickly dives into tighter sections to keep you happily on your toes. A feeling of excitment that continues as you glide across rollers on your journey to a spiraling gully traverse.

Once you've crossed through the gully and across the doubletrack it's on to a narrow section with a little exposure and a lot of attitude. Watch out because this section can get pretty sandy. After a few tight turns Rabid Rabbit winds you down easy with a series of gentle berms curving through the forest.

A quick pedal past the dirt jumps and you'll connect with Up Chuck on your way back to the parking lot, or off for another loop.
